Before restoring this machine, we collaborated with our customer on the paint, decal scheme, and design on the lighted sign. A computer model was made and a different versions of the machine were demonstrated before beginning. Here you can see a picture of the unrestored machine and the three versions proposed. | ||

Cavalier USS-64s were manufactured between 1966 and 1972. This is the oldest model machine that can vend six to twelve ounce bottles or twelve ounce cans. Each shelf inside can be individually adjusted to vend either bottles or cans.
USS-64s can hold a maximum of 64 bottles or cans through eight different selections. The vending price is adjustable between 5¢ and $1.50. The machine also has a 'sold-out mechanism' which prevents the rack from vending if no product is available on a given shelf.
