Pepsi Cola Vendo 63
This is a restored Vendo 63 can machine from the 1960s that was sold in December, 2006. Like all Vendo 63s, this machine stands 53 inches tall, is 21.5 inches deep, and is 27.5 inches wide. It is capable of storing 56 twelve ounce beverage cans and will cool them to a nice 36 degrees F. Depending on what settings you choose, the machine will vend its cans for free, or for a price between 5 and 75 cents. In our restoration of the machine we covered all the bases. For a start, the machine was fully cleaned and has received a new compressor, fan motors, temperature control, and wiring on the refrigeration unit. It has been installed with a rebuilt coin mechanism and has received new light bulbs, ballasts, and starters as well. As for the exterior, this machine has been repainted with our standard base-coat, clear-coat paint job. The interior of the cabinet has also been repainted with hammerite silver, giving it a finish like cast metal. All of the chrome pieces have been repolished and the serving door has received new plexiglass. And, finally, the machine has been decorated with new decals of the same kind that were on the machine in the sixties.
